Boy Dies in the I.O.O.F. Home

Charles David Cheek, age 4 years, died at the IOOF Orphans Home in
Lexington, August 8, of brain tumor and the remains were shipped
to Paintsville and buried at Turner Cemetery above Paintsville
Tuesday afternoon.

The little fellow was the son of Mrs. America Cheek of Greenup
county, formerly located in this county.

The father was Lafe Cheek, a member of the Paintsville IOOOF Lodge
who was killed in the mines about a year ago in this section.

The children were sent last fall to the home in Lexington.
