Beatrice Wells Childers, 83, of Prestonsburg, died Monday, June 30,
2003 at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born Dec. 20, 1919, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Richard M. and Fannie Richmond Wells.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford P. Childers of Prestonsburg;
two sons, David Michael Childers of Concord, N. C., and Conrad Duran
Childers of Ypsilanti, Mich.; two daughters, Judith Montgomery of
Ypsilanti and Patricia Shepherd of Claypool, Ind.; six
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, July 3, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Chapel, Paintsville, with Rev. Calvin Setser officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
