William Henry Conley, 85, of East Point, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007
at V.A. Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va.
Born July 6, 1921, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late
Everett and Lucy Rice Conley. He was a farmer and a WW II U.S. Army
veteran.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dixie Kestner Conley, in
2006.
Survivors include a son, James R. Conley of East Point; two
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Charles Heater, Kevin Conley, and
Richard Williams officiating.
Military services were conducted by Auxier Chapter of D.A.V.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
