Larry Grant Collins, 55, of Hager Hill, died Saturday, June
9, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va.
Born Oct. 7, 1951, in Letcher County, he was a son of Ruby
Stallard Collins of Whitesburg and the late Hearl Collins.
He was a mine foreman, coal miner C.A.M. and a member of
Chandlersville Masonic Lodge.
Additional survivors include his wife, Alberta Miller
Collins of Hager Hill; two sons, Larry David Collins of
Picklefork, and Dr. Bradley Collins of Greenville, S.C.; two
step-sons, Bradley Wayne Robinson and David Nicholas
Robinson, both of Harlen; two brothers, Stanley Earl Collins
of Red Fox, and James Hearl Collins of Lexington; a sister,
Mary Craft of Whitesburg; one granddaughter; and one step-
grandson.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 12, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Frank Holbrook
officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery,
Staffordsville, under direction of Jones-Preston Funeral
Home.
