MANFORD COLVIN

Manford Colvin, 90, of East Point, died Saturday, July 9, 2005 at
Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born March 12, 1915, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late John
Henry and Alice Fairchild Colvin. He was a salesman with Williams
Wholesale Grocery, Paintsville, member of Collista Freewill Baptist
Church and a Mason.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marie Wilson Colvin.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Preston and Pat Colvin,
both of Paintsville, and Linda Archer of East Point; a son, Harry
Colvin of East Point; four grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, July 11, at Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Revs. Richard Williams and Tobe Johnson officiating.
East Point Masonic Lodge 657 F&AM conducted Masonic services Sunday,
July 10, at the funeral home.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Paintsville Funeral Home.
