MARIE COLVIN
1917-2001
Marie Colvin, 84, of East Point, died Sunday Aug.12 2001 at her
home.
Mrs. Colvin was born Feb. 22, 1917, in East Point, the daughter of
the late William and Mary Rice Conley.
She was a member of the Rockhouse Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Manford Colvin; three daughters,
Barbara Preston and Patricia Colvin, both of Paintsville, and
Linda Archer of East Point; a son, Harry Colvin of Meally; a
foster sister, Virginia Meek of Paintsville; four grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the
Paintsville Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Williams and the Rev.
Hubert Slone.
Burial will be in the Highland Memorial park in Staffordsville.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at
the funeral home.
