EUGENE F. CONLEY
1895-1981
Eugene F. Conley, 85, died Friday, July 10 in Good Samaritan Hospital in
Lexington, after an extended illness.
Mr. Conley was born in Johnson County, November 11, 1895, the son of Franklin
Pierce and Mary Dixon Conley.
He was a resident of Paintsville and a retired employee of C&O Railroad.
Surviving are his wife Mabel Rice Conley; 3 sons, Franklin Pierce, Dr. Joe
Rice and David Lee Conley all of Paintsville; a sister, Lillian Hazelett of
Paintsville; 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 12, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Norman (Payday) Roberts and C. C. Hall officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
