Glen Edison Conley, 75, of Salyersville, died Saturday, Jan. 12, at his
residence.
 
Born Oct. 31, 1937, at Conley, he was the son of the late Otis and Necie
Whitt Conley. He was retired from Salyersville Funeral Home, served as
Magoffin County coroner, was a U.S. Army veteran, and a member of the
Salyersville Kiwanis Club, Salyersville Masonic Lodge #769 F & AM, and
Magoffin County Chapter 15 DAV.
 
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Wilma Colvin, Darlene Conley
and Debra Conley; and two brothers, Alvin Conley and Buford Conley.
 
Survivors include his wife, Jolene Conley; a daughter, Cassaundra Stacy of
Frankfort; three sisters, Zelma Wheeler and Pamela Conley, both of
Salyersville, and Judy Borders of Talladege, Ohio; a brother, James Conley of
London, Ohio; and a grandchild.
 
Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Salyersville First Baptist Church,
with Michael Hornack, and Floyd Arnett officiating.
 
Masonic rites were conducted, along with military rites given by Magoffin
County Chapter 15 DAV.
 
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Salyersville Funeral Home, Salyersville.
