WENDELL CONLEY
1923-1980
Wendell Wallace Conley, 56, died Monday, May 12, in V A Hospital, Tampa, FL,
after an extended illness.
Born July 29, 1923, in Johnson County, he was the son of Max Conley and the
late Virgie Welch Conley.
He was a resident of Orlando, FL and a salesman.
Surviving in addition to his father are his wife; Hermalee Sparks Conley; two
sons, Wendell Wallace Conley, II, Davenport, Fl and Phillip Lee Conley,
Orlando; four sisters, Mary Elizabeth Cantrell and Lois Beverly, Hager Hill,
Grace Maxine Bates, Fairborn, OH and Ester Jayner, Kettering, OH; six
brothers, Harry Thomas, Howard Douglas, and Eugene Conley, Orlando, FL,
Robert Conley, Atlanta, GA, Phillip and Darwin Conley, New Carlisle, OH.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 18, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Richard Williams officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial park, Staffordsville.
