WILLIAM VICTOR CONLEY
William Victor Conley, 64, of West Van Lear, died Tuesday
Novemeber, 7 1962, in Lexington following an extended illness.
He was a merchant and was affiliated with the West Van Lear Church
of Christ.
He was the son of the late William Amos and Arminta Alice Rice
Conley.
Immediate survivors include his wife, Jean Corder Conley, one
brother, John E. Conley, of West Van Lear; and sis sisters, Miss
Alta Conley, of West Van Lear; Mrs. Mae McCloud, of Pikeville;
Mrs. Ocie Akers, of West Van Lear; Mrs. June Young of Paintsville;
Mrs. Vertrice Howard of Tuscon, Arizona; and Mrs. Maxine Goble of
West Van Lear.
Funeral services were conducted by Cecil Sherman and Kenneth C.
Goble on Friday, November 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Van Lear
Church of Christ.
Burial followed in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at
Staffordsville, under direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
