JAMES COOK
1933-1997
Retired truck driver James Walter Cook, 63, died Tuesday, May 13, 1997
at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Floyd Co Ky.
Mr. Cook was born August 7, 1933, in Floyd County, to the late Walter
and Elizabeth Cook.
He was retired from Pepsi Cola Company. He was also preceded in death
by his wife, Martha Ann Montgomery Cook.
Surviving are one son, James R. Cook of Van Lear; one daughter, Rose
Ann Cook of Paintsville; three brothers, Kermit and David Cook, both of
Paintsville, and Bill Cook of Ashland; five sisters, Regina Williams
and Lorraine Music, both of Paintsville, barbara Cook of Ashland,
Margaret Blair of Waverly, Ohio, and Deloris Butcher of Columbus, Ohio;
and six grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 16, at Jones Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Bobby Cole officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
