WILLIAM ROBERT COPLEY
1935-1974
William Robert Copley died Dec 24 at the age of 39. A native of Martin
County, Mr. Copley was born July 10, 1935 and was a resident of Spencer, WV
at the time of his demise.
Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Stacher Copley; two sons, at home, William
Robert Copley, II, and Shane Kelley Copley; a daughter, Linda Marie Copley
and a step daughter, Cynthia Faye Copley, both at home; two brothers, James
M. Copley and Shade L. Copley, both of McMinville, TN an four sisters, Geneva
Crace of Paintsville, Effie Webb and Tieann Blackburn, both of Mt. Sterling
and Mary Slone of Eaton Rapid, MI.
Funeral services for Mr. Copley were held Sunday, Dec 29 in the Chapel of the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Music officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with arrangements
under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
