FREDDIE COX
1941-1992
Freddie Cox, 50, of Aurora, IN, died Monday, May 11 at his residence.
Mr. Cox was born June 10, 1941 in Pikeville, the son of John and Olive
Charles Cox.
He was a boilermaker/construction worker in Moore’s Hill, IN and a member of
Moore’s Hill Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons, Freddie, Jr., and Patrick Cox, both of Detron, MI,
one daughter, Tammie Kelly of Columbus, OH; his grandmother, Octavia Boyd of
Pikeville, one brother, Donnie Cox of Pikeville and two sisters, Betty
McClellan of Hilliard, OH and Phyllis Meade of Lexington.
Graveside services were held Thursday, May 14 in Highland Memorial Park at
Staffordsville with Rev. George Konkas officiating.
Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
