LENA CRABTREE
1887-1981
Mrs. Lena Crabtree, 93, died Friday, September 4, in Riverview Manor Nursing
Home after an extended illness.
Mrs. Crabtree was born October 29, 1887 in Logan Co., WV, the daughter of
John and Jane Whitt. She was a resident of Paintsville and a member of the
Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Dr. Mark Dempsey and Robert
Crabtree. Surviving are two daughters, Oma Meade, Temple Hill, MD and Corby
Lee Lewis of Paintsville; 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and 4
great- great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 7 in Preston Funeral Home Chapel
with Dr. Charles Milam officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
