ROBY CRISLIP

Sitka resident, Roby Crislip, 75, died Saturday, January 30 in Paul
B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
  
Mr. Crislip was born July 3, 1917 in Johnson County, the son of the
late Fred and Velda Caldwell Crislip. He was a miner and member of
the Sitka Freewill Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Burkes Crislip; one son, Melvin
Crislip of Sitka; three daughters, Wanda Salyer of Flat Gap, Lillie
Ratliff of Paintsville and Brenda Kesinger of Sitka; two brothers,
Archie Crislip of Bellville, MI and William Crislip of Scottboro, AL;
three sisters, Malta Ross of Flat Gap, Mae Ross of Westerville, OH,
and Edna Grimm; and seven grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 2 in Sitka Freewill
Baptist Church, with C. C. Hall, Jim McKenzie, Ellis Hamilton and
Stan Burchett.
  
Burial was in Daniel Family Cemetery at Sitka, with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
