Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Carl
Michael "Mike" Crothers, 47, who died Tuesday, June 1 1999 at Mountain
Manor Nursing Home.
 
Mr. Crothers was born February 26, 1952, in Monterey, Tennessee, to the
late Thomas Nicholas and Colleen Price Crothers.
 
He was an RN anesthetist.
 
Surviving are his wife, Malinda Preston Crothers; two sons, Aaron
Preston and Nicholas. Price Crothers, both of Charleston, West
Virginia; one brother, William "Bill" Crothers of Paintsville; and one
sister, Mary Evelyn Hewlett of Paintsville.
 
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 3, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Revs. Anne E. Rex, and Donnie Patrick officiating.
 
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
