COLLEEN CROTHERS
1915-1997
 
Paintsville resident Colleen Price Crothers, 81, died Saturday, March
1, 1997 at Highlands Regional Medical Center.
 
Mrs. Crothers was born March 25, 1915, to the late Clarence G. and Mary
Hall Price.
 
She was an LPN for forty years, working at the Paintsville Clinic,
Prestonsburg General Hospital and Highlands Regional Medical Center.
 
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas N. Crothers, in
1974; one son, David Lee Crothers; and one daughter, Lenore Crothers
Eldridge.
 
Surviving are two sons, William "Bill" and Mike Crothers, both of
Paintsville; one daughter, Mary E. Hewlett of Paintsville; one brother,
Cleaburn Price of West Van Lear; and 11 grandchildren, 13 great-
grandchildren and six great-great- grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held Monday, March 3, at the First Baptist Church
of Paintsville, with Drew Martin officiating.
 
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with Jones-
Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
