VERLA CRUM
1917-1985
Williamsport resident Verla (Doll) Mollett Crum, 68, died June 1 in Riverview
Manor Nursing Home in Prestonsburg following an extended illness.
Mrs. Crum was born February 18, 1917 in Martin County, the daughter of Rod
and Suze Delong Mollett. She was a member of the United Baptist Church.
Her first husband, Hubert Mills, preceded her in death in April 1944.
Surviving are her husband, Everett Crum, three sons, Everett Crum, Jr. of
Williamsport, Harold Mills of Meally, and Thomas Mills of Massillon, OH; four
daughters, Betty Bridgman of Williamsport, Doris Crum of Meally, Carol
Mollett and Linda Smith of Wabash, IN; two sisters, Mrs. Dixie Branham of
Meally and Mrs. Thelma Anglin of Burnsville, NC; 24 grandchildren, and 26
great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday June 3 in Little Friendship United Baptist
Church at Boons Camp with Elders Claude Mollett and Shady Lee Walters
officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
