JOHN DALE JR.
1927-1980
John Dale, Jr., 52, died Friday, April 11, at his Prestonsburg home.
Mr. Dale was an employee of Kentucky West Virginia Gas Company, a Navy
veteran and member of Irene Cole Church.
He was born April 18, 1927, the son of John and Sarah Castle Dale. His wife,
Betty Fairchild Dale preceded him in death.
Surviving are 2 sons, John Dale III of Wittensville, and Danny Dale of
Marimar, Fl; a daughter, Debbie Dept of Marimar, Fl; 2 brothers, Carl Sparks
of OH and Dickie Sparks of Paintsville; 2 sisters, Geneva Meek and Doris
Miller both of Paintsville; 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 14, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Dean Pack and Dr. Charles Milam officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home handling arrangements.
