CECIL DANIEL SR.
1914-1992
Lowmansville resident, Cecil Daniel, Sr., 77, died Friday, December 4 in St.
Mary’s Hospital, Huntington, WV.
Mr. Daniel was born December 13, 1914, in Johnson County, the son of the late
Alonzo Daniel and Alice Ward. He was a retired miner and was a member of the
United Mine Workers.
Surviving are his wife, Edith Chandler Daniel; three sons, Robert Daniel of
East Point, Cecil Daniel, Jr., of Lowmansville, and Douglas Daniel of
Ironton, OH; one sister, Hazel Fisher of Cocoa, FL and 10 grandchildren and
12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 7, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Terry Conley and Phillip Robinson officiating.
Burial Was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville.
