SHIRLEY L. DANIEL
1921-1984
 
Mrs. Shirley L. Daniel, age 63, of Tutor Key, died April 18, 1984 at
her home, following an extended illness.
 
Mrs. Daniel was born in Johnson County, april 14, 1921, the daughter of
the late John and Doshie Hall Pelphrey.
 
She was a seamstress and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
 
She is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Daniel; a son, Roger Daniel,
Pikeville; a daughter Mrs. Edna Lanell Blevins, paintsville; a brother,
Everett Pelphrey, Van Lear; two ssisters, Elsie Pellphrey and Alka
Preston, both of Dayton, OH; eight grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 21 at the Baker Branch
Freewill Baptist Church, at Tutor Key, with Rev. Vennie Banhoose,
officiating.
 
Burial was made in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
the direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
