Earlene Nelson Daniels, 82, of East Point, died Saturday, Oct. 30, at
Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Born July 1, 1928, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late Earl
and Violet Alifair Bradley Nelson. She was a homemaker.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Jack Daniels, in 1995; a
brother, Jimmy Nelson; a sister, JoAnn Howard; and a grandchild,
Survivors include three sons, Danny Joe Daniels and Steve Michael Daniels,
both of East Point, and Michael Joe Daniels of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother,
Fred Nelson of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren;
and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel,
with Wayne Price and Danny Hall officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
