HARRISON DANIELS
1888-1970

Retired miner Harrison Daniels, 82, died Thursday, June 4, (1970),
at the home of his daughter Rhetta McCloud in Stambaugh, after an
extended illness.

A resident of Meally for the last ten years, he was born in Johnson
County (Kentucky) on April 26, 1888.

He was the son of the late John and Mahalie Daniels.

He was affiliated with the Odd Fellows Lodge and the Free Will
Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Stella McFaddin; five sons,
Hollie of Williamsport, Wilbur of South Point, Ohio, Harrison, Jr.
and Havalon of Columbus, Ohio, and Worth Aaron Moore of
Staffordsville; and five daughters, Garnet Davis of Columbus, Ohio,
Rhetta McCloud of Stambaugh, Elizabeth McClellan of Lexington,
Jessie Boyd of Ashland and Roberta Dozier of Staffordsville.
Additional survivors include four brothers, Bee of East Point,
Everett, Serg and Bill of Garrett and a sister, Mrs. Louise Spears
of Ashland; thirty-two grandchildren and several great
grandchildren.

Clifford Austin and Hershell Short officiated at the funeral
services Sunday, June 7,(1970) in the Free Will Baptist Church in
Paintsville.

Graveside rites were conducted in the Staffordville Church Cemetery
by Paintsville Chapter 288 Odd Fellows.

The Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
