JOHN F. DANIELS
1941-1991
John F. “P-Jack” Daniels, 50, died Monday, November 18, 1991.
Mr. Daniels was born February 6, 1941 in Johnson County, the son of
the late John L. and Patsy Stambaugh Daniels.
He was a teacher/assistant coach in the Lawrence County school
system.
Surviving are his wife, Cathy Preston Daniels; one son, John Mac
[Machlin] Daniels of Paintsville; one daughter, Courtney Rae
Daniels of Paintsville; three brothers, Charles E. “Tiny” and James
V. “Bubby” Daniels, both of Thealka, and Edd Daniels of Tutor Key.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 21 in Paintsville
High School’s gymnasium, with Keen Johnson officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with
Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
