Opal Daniels, 81, died Wednesday, June 30, at Mountain Manor
Nursing Home.
Born June 19, 1923, at Van Lear, she was a daughter of the late W.
and Lutisha Duty Perky.
Survivors include one son, Gary Ward of Meally; two daughters,
Phyllius Joy Fannin of Staffordsville, and Jewel Casebolt of
Williamsport; a sister, Edna Ward of Pigeon Roost; nine
grandchildren; and one step-grandchild. Funeral services were
Saturday, July 3, at Phelps and Son Funeral Home Paintsville Chapel
with Harold Conley and Joe Scott officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Hager Hill.
