RUBY DANIELS
Funeral services were held Sunday, December 17, 2000 for Ruby
Daniels, 82, who died Thursday, December 14, 2000 at her Hager Hill
residence.
Mrs. Daniels was born October 8, 1918, in Johnson County, to the
late David and Georgia Bolen Daniel.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Leonard
Childers, in 1979; one son, Samuel Eddie Ratliff; a daughter,
Phyllis Ann Ratliff; three brothers; and six sisters.
Surviving are her husband, William Daniels; five sons, Fred K.
Ratliff, Charles Vencil Ratliff, Danny D. Daniels and Raymond E.
Daniels, all of West Van Lear, and James E. Daniels of
Staffordsville; two daughters, Joyce C. Hughes of Tampa, Florida,
and Patricia Gail Perkins of Lowmansville; one brother, Charles
Ray Daniel of Richmond, Virginia; and 13 grandchildren and 11
great- grandchildren.
Officiating at services at Staffordsville Freewill Baptist Church
were Mike Blanton, Jimmy Price and Ronnie Spriggs.
Burial followed in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
