STELLA DANIELS
1897-1973
Stella Moore Daniels, 75, a resident of Stambaugh, died Tuesday, February 20
at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Retta McCloud.
The daughter of George and Martha McCloud McFaddin, she was born in Johnson
County in August 1897.
She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Daniels first husband, Scott Moore died in 1935, and her second husband,
Harrison Daniels, preceded her in death in 1970.
Survivors include a son, W. A. Red Moore of Georgetown, and four stepsons,
Wilbur Daniels of South Point, Hollie Daniels of Williamsport, Harrison
Daniels, Jr. of Columbus, and Havalyn Daniels. Also surviving are four
daughters, Mrs. Retta McCloud of Stambaugh, Mrs. John McClellan of
Georgetown, Mrs. Guy Dozier of Staffordsville, Mrs. George H. Boyd of Ashland
and a step daughter, Mrs. Jimmy Davis of Meally. Twelve grandchildren and 21
great grandchildren also survive.
Services were held Friday, February 23, at the First Freewill Baptist Church
in Paintsville, with Charles Stewart, Ellis Hamilton and C. C. Hall
officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery at Staffordsville.
The Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
