BARRY W. DAVIS
1957-1973
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 15, in the Chapel of the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home for Barry W. Davis, 16, of Paintsville, who drowned
Sunday, August 12, while swimming in the Big Sandy River.
Born February 2, 1957, he was a student at Johnson Central High School where
he was a member of the Navy ROTC.
Surviving are his parents, Steve and Betty Taylor Davis, and a sister
Stephanie, all at home.
Rev. Charlies Milam officiated at the services with interment following in
the Highland Memorial park at Staffordsville. The Johnson Central Navy ROTC
unit served as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
