Edith G. Davis, 80, of West Van Lear, died Thursday Mar. 29 2001 in
Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.
Mrs. Davis was born Jan. 24, 1921, in Lewis County, a daughter of
the late Ed and Mahala Burchwell Webb.
She was a member of Little Friendship United Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Lon Cecil Davis; a son, Eddie Davis of
Louisville; a grandchild; and six great- grandchildren. The funeral
will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Jones-Preston Funeral Home in
Paintsville by Claude Mollette and Burnsey Mollette.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
