Flora Davis, 89, died Friday, Sept.14 2007.
Born May 1, 1918 at Davisville, she was a daughter of the late Millard
Albritton Davis and Trinvilla Pack Davis. She was a member of the Old
Hood United Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Elmon Davis; and her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Davis Miller of Pittsburgh,
Penn., Sandra Davis Chenault of Shelbyville, and Elma Jean Davis
Ferguson of Flat Gap; five grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 17, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with burial following at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville
with Steve Rose officiating.
