Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Grace
Lee Honshell Deskins, 84, who died Monday, June 26 1995 at her West
Van Lear residence.
Mrs. Deskins was born April 16 1911 in Morgan County the daughter
of the late James Franklin and Nannie Howard Honshell.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Herbert Deskins Sr. on
June 12 1995.
Surviving are two sons, Alfred Deskins, of Lexington and State
Representative Herbert Deskins Jr. of Pikeville; one daughter, Joan
Branham of Nicholasville; two sisters, Stella Price of West Van
Lear and Ida Bassham of Williamsburg; and seven grandchildren and
four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday June 28, at 11:00
a.m. at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, with Sam Casebolt and
Larry Joe Bayes officiating.
Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
