Anthony Forrest Dills, 94, died Jan 25 in Annie Walker Nursing Home in
Mt. Sterling following an extended illness.
A resident of Mt. Sterling, formerly of Wittensville, he was born Mar 12,
1889, in Johnson County, a son of Henry and Martella Walker Dills. He was
a retired coal miner.
His wife, Leona Lemaster Dills, preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Bert Dills, Mt. Sterling; three daughters, Carol
Wolfe and Ann Dills, Wittensville; and Geneva Stapleton, Detroit, MI; 18
grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Jan 28 in Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel
with M. T. Womack officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
