 SARAH ELLEN DITTY

Sara Ellen Ditty, 52, passed away suddenly in February 10 1971 in a
Williamson, W. Va., hospital.

She was born in Whitehouse to Gertrude Castle [Gertrude Bowling
Simpson] and the late Marion Castle [Charley Simpson] and lived in
Red Jacket, W. Va., at the time of her death.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil Ditty of Red Jacket; her
mother, who lives in Paintsville; two sons, Eddie Lee Ditty of
Middletown, Ohio, and Dennie Ray Ditty, serving with the U.S.
Marines in South Carolina; three daughters, Miss Robyn Ditty at
home, Mrs. Janet Ferguson of Waverly, Ohio, and Mrs. Carolina Sue
Sinclair from Columbus, Ohio. Also surviving are two grandchildren;
seven brothers, Fred Castle, Walter Castle of Canton, Ohio,
Clifford Castle in Columbus, Ohio, Johnnie Castle of Washington,
Mason, Dennis and Marion Castle, Jr., of Indiana, and three
sisters, Alice Castle in Connecticut, Mrs. Gertrude Preston of
Paintsville and Mrs. Dixie Blevins of Offutt. [Also surviving are
three brothers Walter Simpson of Canton, Ohio, Clifford Simpson of
Columbus, Ohio, and Charley Simpson; one sister Mrs. Dixie Blevins
of Offutt; five step- brothers, Fred Castle of Colorado Springs,
Colorado, Mason Castle of Kokomo, Ind., Dennis and Marion Castle,
Jr., of Wabash, Ind., and John E. Castle of Puyallup, Washington;
two step sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Preston of Paintsville and Mrs.
Alice Waterman of Poland Maine.]

Wayne Damron held services February 13 in the Chambers Funeral Home
at Matewan, W. Va., with burial afterward in the Highland Memorial
Gardens [Park] near Paintsville [at Staffordsville].
