ROLLA DIXON
1893-1977
Rolla Dixon, 84, died Tuesday, August 30, in Paintsville Hospital after an
extended illness.
Mr. Dixon was born January 30, 1893, in Johnson County, the son of Alonzo and
Mary Hayes Dixon.
He was a resident of Paintsville and was self employed.
Surviving are his wife, Lillie Conley Dixon; a son, Garland Dixon of
Paintsville; two daughters, Dorothy Schroyer of Paintsville and Anna Belle
Daniel of Allegan, MI; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services held Thursday, September 1, in Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Lowell Webb officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
