MAGGIE DOLLARHIDE

Maggie Dollarhide, 75, of Van Lear, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, at
Pikeville Medical Center.
Born Nov. 5, 1938, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late
Ira and Pearl Sluss Spears.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John R. Dollarhide.
Survivors include a son, Billy Dollarhide of Van Lear; three daughters,
Mary Mitchell of Wabash, Ind., Joann Cantrell of Van Lear and Clara
Booth of Paintsville; seven brothers, Johnny Spears, Jimmy Spears, Doug
Spears and Glen Spears, all of Wabash, George Spears of Paintsville,
Bill Spears and Abbie Spears, both of Virginia; three sisters, Irene
Hook of Van Lear, Virgie Porter of Boons Camp, and Goldie Moore of
Wabash; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 11, at Phelps and Son Funeral Home
Chapel, with Manford Fannin officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
