JAMES ARTHUR EALEY
1915-1987
James Arthur Ealey, 72, died Tuesday, June 2 in Highlands Regional
Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
Mr. Ealey was born March 10, 1915 in Johnson County, the son of Matthew
and Martha Bayes Ealey.
Surviving are his spouse, Ocie McKenzie Ealey; two sons, Gary Ealey of
Marshall, NC, and Phillip Ealey of Salyersville; four daughters, Billie
Frazier of Flat Gap, Virginia Hackworth and Ruth Ealey, both of Vanlue,
OH and Grace Helton of Staffordsville; one brother, Henry Ealey, of
Baltimore, MD; and eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two
step grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 5, in Jones- Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with J. T. Bailey and John Fred Ramey officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
