Ocie Ealey, 84, of Paintsville, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002 at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
Born Feb. 5, 1917, at Flat Gap, she was a daughter of the late Bill
Ed McKenzie and Della Mae McKenzie.
She was a homemaker and member of Rockhouse Freewill Baptist
Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ealey.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip Ealey of Salyersville and Gary
Ealey of Marshall, N.C.; four daughters, Billie Shaw of
Laurelville, Ohio, Virginia Hackworth and Ruth Fraley, both of
Vanlue, Ohio, and Grace Helton of Staffordsville; a brother, Homer
Williams of Louisa; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Paintsville Funeral
Chapel, with Revs. Richard Williams and Paul W. Browning
officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
