OLIVER EALEY
1916-1985
Oliver (Dick) Ealey, 69, died October 2 at his Hager Hill home. Mr. Ealey was
born May 23, 1916 in Johnson County, the son of Charlie and Bessie Clark
Ealey.
He was a retired miner for Island Creek Coal Company and a member of the
Collista Freewill Baptist Church.
His wife, Mabel Lemaster Ealey preceded him in death in October 1975.
Surviving are a son, Doug Ealey of Paintsville; a daughter, Judy VanHoose of
Lexington; two brothers, Charles Ealey, Jr., of Florida and John Ealey of
Louisa; a sister, Ann Adkins of Myrtle Beach, SC; five grandchildren and two
great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held October 4 in Preston Funeral Home Chapel with
Clarence Lemaster and Paul Litz officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
