FAYETTE COUNTY
James Riley Estep Sr., 77, of Lexington, formerly of Van Lear, died
Wednesday, Feb. 2.
Born June 14, 1933, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late George
Franklin and Eva Hazlette Estep. He was a retired painting contractor, and a
member of Southern Acres Christian Church.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Estep.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Sue Sparks Estep; a son, James Riley
Estep Jr.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 5, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel, with
Wally Rendel officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones- Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
