WALTER O'BRYAN
1919-1999
Nippa resident Walter O'Bryan, 80, died Wednesday, July 7, 1999
at Central Baptist Hospital.
Mr. O'Bryan was born January 23, 1919, in Johnson County, to the
late William G. and Esta Woods 0'Bryan.
He was the owner of a grocery store.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Hayes O'Bryan one son, Walter
Stephen O'Bryan of Nippa; three brothers, Billy J. O'Bryan of
Paris, Estill O'Bryan of New Concord, Ohio, and Bobby Gene
O'Bryan of Huntington, West Virginia; three sisters, Janice Lee
Mayhew of Paintsville, Vivian Lois Blanton of Somerset and Betty
June Salyer of Columbus, Ohio; and one grandchild and one great-
grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 10, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Toby Wheeler and Dick VanHoose
officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
