DIXIE ONEY
1908-1992
East Point resident, Dixie Oney, 84, died Monday, October 5 in Paul B. Hall
Medical Center.
Mrs. Oney was born January 27, 1908 in Johnson County, the daughter of the
late Samuel Colvin and Mary Lou Kestner.
She was a member of the East Point Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband, Orville Earl Oney; two sons, Earl Oney of East
Point and Rodney Oney of Fairborn, OH; one brother, Woodrow Colvin of
Prestonsburg; and six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, October 7 at 11 a.m. in
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Dave Flanery officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
