ORVILLE EARL ONEY
1907-1992
Retired miner, Orville Earl Oney, 85, died Sunday, December 27 at his East
Point residence.
Mr. Oney was born May 9, 1907 in Johnson County, the son of the late George
and Nannie Dingus Oney.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dixie Oney, in October 1992.
Surviving are two sons, Earl Oney of East Point and Rodney Oney of Fairborn,
OH, and six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, December 30, at 1:30 p.m. in
Jones-Preston Funeral Home chapel with Dave Flanery officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial park at Staffordsville,
Paintsville Herald,
