Ethel Osborne, 85, died Saturday, January 17, in Fleming county Hospital,
Flemingsburg.
 
Mrs. Osborne was born June 16, 1895, in Johnson County, the daughter of Alona
and Martha Dixon Castle. She was a resident of Wittensville and a member of
the Freewill Baptist Church.
 
Her husband, Walter Clay Osborne, preceded her in death.
 
Surviving are 4 sons, Walter Clay Osborne of Flemingsburg, Buell Osborne of
Areanum, OH, Ruell Osborne of Paintsville and David Osborne of Wittensville;
4 daughters, Louise Burns of Flemingsburg, Goldie Adams of Paintsville,
Dorothy Rose of Newport New, VA, and Hermalee Murphy of Washington CH, OH; 4
brothers, Roy and Bill Castle of Wittensville, McKinley and Sullivan Castle
of Springfield, OH; 1 sister, Dixie Boyd of Cannonsburg; 25 grandchildren; 11
great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 20 in Toms Creek Freewill Baptist
Church with James Kelly Caudill, bill Meadows and Dick VanHoose officiating.
 
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
