RUIE OSBORNE
1906-1988
Former Johnson County resident, Ruie Blanton Osborne, died Wednesday, March
16, in Riverview Nursing Home, Prestonsburg.
Mrs. Osborne was born June 8, 1906 in Johnson County, the daughter of Harry
and Betty Davis Blanton.
Her husband, John Osborne, preceded her in death in Dec 1972.
Surviving are five sisters, Virgie Bayes of Staffordsville, Jewell Lang of
Glen Burnie, MD, Anna Corte of College Park, MD, Dora Fink of Baltimore, MD,
and Marie Dutton of Tremont City, OH.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Mar 19, in Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel, with Rev. Arner Whitaker officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
