WALTER CLAY OSBORNE

Walter Clay Osborne, 88, of Paintsville, died Thursday, March 2
2006 at his residence.
Born May 19, 1917, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late
Walter and Ethel Castle Osborne. He was a retired coal miner and a
veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Tackett Osborne of
Paintsville; a son, Patrick Osborne of Paintsville; a step-son,
Jack Tackett of Lexington; a daughter, Lenda Letlks of Cambridge
City, Ind.; two brothers, Ruel Osborne and David Osborne, both of
Wittensville; two sisters, Goldie Adams of Paintsville, and
Dorothy Rose of Newport News, Va.; one grandchild; and three
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, March 5, at Toms Creek Free Will
Baptist Church, Nippa, with James Kelly Caudill officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
