Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for
Gaylord Pack Sr. 89, who died Tuesday, January 17 1995, at
Highlands Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Pack was born December 3, 1905, in Johnson County, the son
of the late George Washington and Alwilda Preston Pack.
He was retired from Paintsville Truck Sales, a member of Tom's
Creek United Baptist Church and retired director from Citizens
National Bank.
Also preceding him in death by his wife, Sylvia Arrowood Pack,
on February 28,1992.
Surviving are one son, Gaylord Jr. of Paintsville; one
daughter, Dordena McNally of Prestonsburg; one brother, Arnold
Pack of Morehead; and six grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 20 at Paintsville
United Baptist Church, with John Red Pelphrey, J.D. Rice and
Charles Price officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville
