SYLVIA LYNN PACK
1906-1992
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 1 for Sylvia Ruth Arrowood Pack,
85, who died Friday, February 28.
Mrs. Pack was born July 10, 1906 in Kentucky, the daughter of Lon and Dutch
Gibbs Arrowood.
She was a member of the United Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Gaylord Pack, one son, Gaylord Pack, Jr., of
Paintsville; one daughter, Dordena R. McNally of Prestonsburg, two brothers,
Paul Arrowood of Paintsville and Raleigh Arrowood of Rockport, TX; two
sisters, Billie Strong of Irvine and Georgene Oney of Dauphin, IL , and six
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Officiating at services in Paintsville United Baptist Church was Charles
Price, John Red Pelphrey, and J. D. Rice.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Jones-Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
