HELEN PATTON
1916-1997
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 20, for Helen Marie
Patton, 80, who died March 15 1997 at Raceland.
Mrs. Patton was born July 30, 1916, in Johnson County, to the
late James Arthur and Bessie Jane Medings Pack.
She was a social worker.
Surviving are her husband, Dexter Patton of Paintsville; three
daughters, Maragert Ropers of Lexington, Marlene White of
Raleigh, North Carolina, and Martha Mefford of Raceland; one
brother, James Arthur Pack Jr., of Paintsville; two sisters,
Lillian Arrowood and Mary Richmond, both of Paintsville; and
nine grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
Officiating at services at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel were
Rev. Drew Martin and Terry Browning.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Staffordsville.
