Robert Lewis Patton, 78, of Paintsville, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007 at
his residence.
Born July 18, 1929, in Floyd County, he was a son of the late Harvey
and Gertrude Osborne Patton. He was a coal miner and a U.S. Army
veteran.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Patton, in 2001.
Survivors include a son, Luther Conley of Paintsville; a daughter,
Judith A. Conley of Harold; a sister, Carmon Mason of Minnesota; three
grandchildren; and a great- grandson.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville, with Ken Chambers
officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
