DOROTHY PELPHREY
1907-1984
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 7 for Mrs. Dorothy Pelphrey,
76, of Staffordsville.
Mrs. Pelphrey died June 4, in Highlands Regional Medical Center following an
extended illness.
Born September 9, 1907, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of Joe and
Liz Fairchild, and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Pelphrey, October 6, 1977.
Surviving are 3 sons, Jack C. Pelphrey of Fairborn, OH, Fred Carol Pelphrey
of Columbus, OH, Eddie Harold Pelphrey of Denver; 4 daughters, Betty Jackson
of Ramona, Ca, Jo Ann Estep and Mary Camp of Fairborn, OH and Nola VanHoose
of Paintsville.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. in Third Street Freewill Baptist Church,
Paintsville, with Rev. John Frank Ratliff officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park under direction of the Paintsville
Funeral Home.
